the abysmal sea

the last two days i read the kraken wakes and (john wyndham) and maker of universes (philip lee farmer). both were better than mod club. the kraken wakes, being from the 50's, had lots of quaint sceintific terminology, references to the bomb, and soviet bashing.

i'm still sick, that doesnt seem fair at all. maybe i should take some vitamins or something. mike is coming saturday or sunday and staying for a week, he has to stay in ottawa friday though so he can drink a lot of beer, so the story goes. hmm
