new bunny, old news

i just got back from having some lunch with the ebm. the service at the red room was slow and sweaty. i had nachos and a coke, she had oj and avocado sandwich. dale came with her but he had to leave to go to work before he could even get a coffee. that was because of the slowness. it has been a long time since i updated. let's see. on friday i didnt do much of anything, mike's friend dave was around because he was looking at prospective apartments in the u of t area and he went to the grocery store with us. on saturday mike and i did mushrooms and went to see a movie at the royal, only it wasn't the movie we thought we would be seeing as the information listed on the festival cinemas website was incorrect. so we saw y tu mama tambien without having any clue what it would be about. it turned out to be quite good, i would reccomend it. then we were interested in going to see more indie movies so on sunday we went to see atanarjuat because it had gotten so much good press. well it pretty much sucked. i apologize to the inuit people but it was such a very long, boring movie. the picture quality was shit also. like they might have shot it on the video camera i have. so we havent gone to see any more movies. that one was only $4 though so it was only a loss of time. on monday i got a new bunny from the humane society to be a friend for felix. she is a sweet lady but not cute at all. she is also massive. she had been there since march, amongst all the cute bunnies, and i dont know how long they will keep a bunny there before her number comes up, so i adopted her. she has had some problems with the litter box idea, but she is sitting in it as i type so perhaps all is well. her and felix got off to a raunchy start, as soon as we introduced them he started humping her. i did read the guide to introducing bunnies on the house rabbit society website and apperantly the humping means he's asserting his dominance over her. he humped her quite vigorously and frequently most of monday afternoon so maybe felix is a little insecure. she humped him at least once also. then she pulled big clumps of fur out of his tail. but now they are friends. silly bunnies. we had to give girl bunny a bath because she soiled herself somewhat. she looked absurd when she was wet. she is either going to be named daisy or trixie. the name she came with was clara, which is totally unsuitable. she does not look like a clara. monday night i went to the opm den to see death from above, but really just to see my friends that i hadnt seen in a while. yesterday was a day of doing a bit of clean-up, and enjoying the animal friends. i also bought a wok. the end!
