wasteland of higher learning

i spent about 4 hours this afternoon researching for a paper i have to write. The combination of brisk, sunny fall weather and old books has left me feeling very collegiate. a ridiculous thought! I made use of Robart's, the largest library in north america which from some angles resembles a bizarro turkey and also dominates the view from my apartment windows. technically it is for U of T students but I still have my card so i can go in there. i'm not sure i can check anything out though, i haven't tried. Now it is the part where i have to actually write the paper. This i am not looking forward to. duke and cleo need a better house, their box is falling to pieces. also i am running out of bunny food! gone through two boxes in about as many weeks. hungry bastards. i wish i could enjoy this nice weather but i guess i should get back to work now. ta ta.
