loud noises

there was a fire in the underground garage of my apartment building the other day, a car exploded or something. it smelled terrible, and there was a ton of fire trucks. the alarm in the building stayed on for such a long time. horrible. i tried to take pictures from my balcony but it's so high up, they kind of suck. i hope my new camera comes soon. i bought a canon powershot. here is the smoke pouring out from the vents over the garage.

and here are the people who actually bothered to go outside, I'm guessing they did not have to go down 20 flights of stairs to get out.
