the iron worm

yesterday i meant to get up early and do lots of things but did that happen? no it did not. i did get up fairly early though, not by my own choice but because they were testing the emergency alarms in the building. then i was too disgruntled to do a whole lot. i went to shoppers and purchased the sequel to the holographic cats in space notebook, which features different holographic cats in a different holographic space scene. elizabeth came over and we smoked a joint, and then we went to a japanese restaurant. in the restaurant there was music with chirping birds. the meal was good and i used chopsticks with some degree of success. after the foodstuffs we came back to my place and sat on the couch watching tv for a good long time. there was a depressing episode of wild discovery about the bears in indonesia. some asian people have a really fucked up philosophy towards nature and animals. and they think bear bile has some medicinal quality so they have bile farms where the bears are kept drugged in cages with catheters harvesting their bile. it sounds pretty concentration campy to me. also the bears are cute and look like funny dog men. i then stayed up all night doing absolutely nothing, as far as i can tell. I'm thirsty.
